Q. Are the Maps originals?

A. No. They are very good reproductions. The originals were printed on masonite and framed.

Q. Are the Maps Framed?

A. They do not come framed. They are shipped rolled in a heavy duty shipping tube.

Q. How did you get the map and how do you reproduce them?

A. I grew up going to Walt Disney World and was always infatuated by these great maps. Ever since the originals were removed I have been searching for an original and researching the maps. After all my research I was finally able to recreate the map at a quality which I would be comfortable hanging on my wall and have found that I am not alone.

Q. What happened to the originals?

A. After being taken down, many of them were sold as scrap masonite from the WDW property control department behind the Magic Kingdom. I believe there is one at the Comedy Warehouse at Pleasure Island and possibly one at the Adventurer's Club but have not personally been able to confirm either's existence. Q. What is the quality of the Maps? Are they Blurry?

A. They are printed on Heavy Artist Grade Canvas and are a re-creation of an artist's piece of work, so they are not fine detailed like a picture would be. However they look really good, especially with the size that they are printed at. If you have any questions or concerns please ask prior to ordering a map at info@wdwmap.com.

Q. Why is there a 2" white Border, is that a limitation of the printing process?

A. No, It is not a limitation of the process. I can print them with a full bleed if requested, I have found that it is a much cleaner look with a Gallery Wrap for Mounting. If you want it printed to the edges just ask.

Q. Can I pay for a map by some other means besides Pay pal?

A. Absolutely. I will accept checks, cash, Disney Dollars, you name it, I will try to accommodate. Just email me at Payment@wdwmap.com and ask. If paying with check, the check must clear before I will ship the map.

Q. How much is shipping?

A. If you are in the United States, shipping is included in the price of the map. I either ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS and will send you a tracking number once the map is shipped. You can track at either www.usps.com or www.ups.com.

Q. Will you ship internationally?

A. I can probably work something out, however shipping will be in addition to the price listed on the site. Email me at Payment@wdwmap.com and ask prior to placing an order.
